Now they've got the 3 wet lease aircraft's they are advertising extra flights etc which is not true given they will just try and operate their normal schedule.

The only airline in Pak I see increasing its fleet by adding new aircraft and routes/frequency is Shaheen.
Totally agree, Airblue becomes the worst Pakistani airline in their operation. Now it is more than 2 months of disruption of their flight schedule.
How bravely they are advertising a false information about induction of new planes on wet lease while their old fleet is out of service. :applause:

All three VietJet Air Airbus A320s are currently performing flights for airblue as wet leased aircraft.

4.7.1 Wet Lease Special Condition
Temporary induction of foreign registered aircraft on wet lease may be permitted under following conditions:
  1. Extra ordinary/special circumstances (such as aircraft accident or Hajj, Umra or ziarat operations, etc.)
  2. Permissible up to maximum of 180 days, not extendable further.
  3. Calendar age of all types of aircraft shall not be more than 12 years.
  4. Wet leased capacity (Available Seat Kilometers) shall not exceed more than 50% of the total capacity at any point in time. Special consideration may be given by DG CAA for Hajj operations.

CAA extended vietjets lease due to Post-Hajj operation from mid august to mid November which is near to expiry now.

This aircraft came back today from Bengalore to Karachi after staying there for one week. is this possible under NAP 2015 to allow wetlease of same aircraft after ending of its maximum limit by sending it abroad and then re-lease under new agreement ?? :-k

Seems like CAA is favouring airblue by giving waivers as PIA was never given extensions over pegasus and vietjets.

Or maybe both A320s (VN-A650 & VN-A656) went to Bengaluru for maintenance checks?

On November 18, VietJet Air Airbus A320 registration VN-A656 was ferried from Bengaluru as VietJet Air flight VJ-2608 to Lahore. The A320 resumed performing airblue flights in the morning of November 19.

Seems, these A320s went to India for maintenance checks and resumed performing airblue flights almost immediately after returning to Pakistan.

In case of these aircraft reentering Pakistan for a new lease term with airblue, the paper work I think would have taken some days to allow their operations as leased aircraft.
