Final Notice for Settlement of Unclaimed Shares/Dividends
(To the shareholders or certificate holders or the owner, as the case may be, to file claim)
Pursuant of Section 244 of the Company Act - 2017 and Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)'s Direction No. 16/2017 dated July 7, 2017, the notice was sent on October 5, 2017, to all shareholders whose shares and/or dividends are laying as returned/undelivered or unclaimed. They were asked to contact our Shares Registrar Department of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) and settle their claims.
Notice is hereby given that the shares of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) issued/divided declared by PIACL; details whereof are appearing on PIACL's website piac.com.pk that have remained unclaimed or unpaid or undelivered or returned for a period of three years from the date these have become due and payable.
That notice was sent by courier on the last known address of the shareholders to submit their claims withing three months to PIACL, but no reply there against has been received with the exception of few.
That the PIACL hereby invites claims from the shareholders to be lodged within 90 days, and in case no claim is received within the given period from the notice, the PIACL shall proceed to deposit the unclaimed/unpaid amount with the Federal Government pursuant to the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 244 of the Act.
