According to news sources, the facility of medical treatment of PIA employees at various hospitals is stopped due to non-payment of dues to these hospitals by the airline.
Contracts with these hospitals were due to be renewed in December 2017.

Medical bills submitted by ex/current PIA employees for reimbursement are on hold due non availability of budget.Sad reflection on state of affairs prevailing in PIA.
