My Booking - Seat Allocation - PIA

Post by JayeHussain »

Hi all,
I am due to travel MCT-ISB-MAN in Dec 17/Jan 18 & then MAN-ISB-MAN in Mar/Apr 2018 & I am unable to select seats online - added images below.
As a frequent PIA Passenger, I am pretty sure I had this feature in the past, anyone know anything as to why this facility has been removed?
I know I can call the Contact Center but it seems a bit bizarre they would remove this self-service functionality?
If anyone knows please let anything, please let me know.
Thanks.
Jay Hussain

I have a booking through PIA as well.
I swear it was there few days ago but now I cannot find it.
It doesn't show the Preallocate Seat(s) link anymore.
Weird.

Hello,
I have been told their booking engine is down on their website hence that facility is currently unavailable.
Thought I would let you know.
Thanks.

My Booking - Seat Allocation

Post by JayeHussain »

Update: This issue has now been sorted except there's a few parts to the process.

1. Under My Booking, enter your PNR & press View Booking;
2. Once the booking has been located, a second screen will open, click on Seat Map Allocation, (image attached);
3. A new page will open & you will need to re-enter your PNR & click Go.
4. You will get to the screen where you can pre-allocate your seats.

I am not 100% sure this is very effective long-term as there are way too many steps in the process, but it could be a temporary solution.
Step 3 should be the only step to view it all on one page I guess.
Thanks.
Jay
