According to DAWN News channel, in recent days pilots of three foreign airlines have filed complaints against laser light targeting aircraft during landing approach to Runway 25L of Karachi Airport.

Complaints have been received from cockpit crew of:

Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi to Karachi flight EY-200.
Oman Air Muscat to Karachi flight WY-325.
Emirates Dubai to Karachi flight EK-602.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has contacted police and Malir district authorities to control the situation. CAA is also going to write letter to Federal Government authorities on this matter.

Laser lights can seriously damage eyes of aircraft crew and passengers.
