Today, A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet crashed near Sargodha while on a training mission, a press release issued by PAF said. The pilot ejected the aircraft safely.
"Pakistan Air Force reports with regret that a PAF F7-PG aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed near Sargodha. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely," the statement read.
No loss of civilian life and property has been reported on the ground, it said.
"A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of [the] accident."

The PAF F-7PG Skybolt was flying from PAF Base Samungli to PAF Base Mushaf, Sargodha. After experiencing some technical problem, the fighter aircraft crashed into an agricultural field in Chak 27 near Sargodha . The injured pilot Flight Lieutenant Bilal was shown in an ambulance. The crash did not cause any loss of life on the ground.

I hope this triggers the complete phasing out of this type. Too much recent crashes, not good at all for overall image of the force. A layman doesn't know these F-7s are old

According to newspaper reports, around 9:05 AM Sargodha Air Base air traffic control received message from Flight Lieutenant Bilal that he's ejecting from the aircraft due to some technical problem developed in the aircraft.
The F-7PG from Samungli Air Base was coming to Sargodha Air Base for an exercise.
