PIA is strugling now on Karachi-Bangkok sector. Frequency dropped from thrice a week to once a week A320. is PIA closing this route as well ?

It cannot compete with Thai's almost daily service which includes a wider plane and a fairly good inflight entertainment system. Almost five hours flight in a crammed seat, who would want to fly?

It would be better to close it. Once a week is not financially viable to keep a station going. I think they should concentrate on Jeddah sector for now. May be adding flights from Quetta as well and increasing frequencies from other cities.
