Hiring of Firm/Company for Horticulture and Landscape Maintenance Service at Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Airports
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is intending to develop and implement the master plan for horticulture/landscape maintenance, integration at all PCAA airports in a phase-wise manner as approved by PCAA starting from New Islamabad International Airport. Specific focus would be on monitoring the condition, health and appearance of the landscaping, the condition and the performance of the irrigation systems and to provide the related advisory services. In order to undertake this process, PCAA invites established and reputable horticulture company/companies to submit proposals for developing a master plane for landscaping and horticulture with exotics and flowery plants, management of irrigation system and also the integrated management system.
The services required include but not limited to:
* Review the current status of horticulture and landscaping activities for further improvement, develop vision and conceptual design for landscape and horticulture activities. It will also give analysis of the existing landscapes, plant materials, soil conditions, irrigation systems and other site locations.
* Formulate a technically and economically feasible and environmentally sustainable master development plan of horticulture and landscaping including its implementation with timeline.
* Prepare and present a comprehensive landscaping design in light of the initial survey, both for airside and landside.
* Develop a comprehensive horticulture plan suggesting plantation options. The company/companies will identify and implement such plantation which acts as birds and insects repellent.
* Conduct an initial environmental examination/analysis and recommend the counter measures or mitigation plan against risks and issues.
* As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company will give three months on job training to twenty people (on stipend) on a continuous basis (through advertisement) so that they can be utilized both inside and outside country. The company/companies will also train CAA employees in the field of horticulture.
