No Plan to Sell PIA Hotels in Paris and New York - Mehtab Abbasi

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi in Geo News programme 'Capital Talk' today made it clear that there's no plan to sell Roosevelt Hotel in New York (theroosevelthotel.com) and Hotel Scribe in Paris (hotel-scribe.com).

He said that the two hotels are earning profit and profit-making assets of PIA will not be sold.

The two hotels are managed by PIA subsidiary PIA Investments Limited (PIAIL).

if we all Pakistani lacks common sense than please use your common sense that you have and raise concern more for POLITICAL EMPLOYMENT / CORRUPTION MAFIA to bring down the losses in airline, everything will be settled well without selling these hotels

Look at the power sector the distribution companies (DISCOS) the power producers (GENCOS) the IPPs the distribution losses the pile up of the circular debt just cleared four years ago.

Look at the Railways.

Looks at Pakistan Steel Mills.

Look at the sports authorities what a mess they have made of every sport.

The losses at Sui Northern and Southern

The public sector thrives on corruption, its not just PIA its Pakistan and unless change comes in Pakistan nothing will improve.

seems you are not much interested in the crucial point i raised earlier and dragging off topic; if the whole Pakistan is corrupt then someone has to step forward and fix this all, and if you are confident enough then point out the root causes for losses to turn around PIA rather than liquidation of profit making assets
