Special PIA Flights Requested for Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Death Anniversary

According to news sources, in a letter addressed to Chairman PIA, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader & leader of the opposition in the national assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah has requested operation of special PIA flights on the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto coming up on April 4. Like every year, a large number of PPP workers from various parts of the country will attend the death anniversary, the letter says.

Special flights requested include:

Departure at 10:00 AM from Karachi to Sukkur on April 4.
Departure at 10:00 AM from Islamabad to Sukkur via Lahore on April 4.

Departure at 5:00 PM from Sukkur to Karachi on April 5.
Departure at 5:00 PM from Sukkur to Islamabad via Lahore on April 5.

PIA Lahore to Karachi flight PK-313 apparently re-routed today.

PK-313 performed by Airbus A320-216 registration AP-BLY today arrived in Sukkur from Lahore via Islamabad. Maybe this flight is carrying PPP leaders/workers/activists from Lahore and Islamabad.

From Sukkur probably PK-313 will fly to its destination Karachi.

PIA Karachi to Islamabad via Sukkur flight PK-390 performed by Airbus A320-214 registration AP-BLC departed from Karachi at 10:18 AM today. It's scheduled departure time was 7:30 AM. Maybe this flight is carrying PPP leaders/workers/activists from Karachi.

PIA Airbus A320-214 registration AP-BLT performed flight PK-390 rerouted Karachi to Islamabad via Sukkur & Lahore. After departing from Sukkur it diverted to Karachi due to bad weather in Lahore.

Later, AP-BLT departed from Karachi again as flight PK-390 and flew to Islamabad via Lahore.
