PIA Flight PK-740 to Multan Experiences Problem Before Departure from Jeddah

According to news sources, a PIA aircraft due to some technical problem is unable to depart from Jeddah as flight PK-740 to Multan.

Maybe PIA Boeing 777-240ER registration AP-BHX that landed in Jeddah as flight PK-761 from Karachi today.

The B777 has not returned to the skies since landing in Jeddah more than six hours ago.

According to PTV News, the aircraft is parked at Jeddah Airport after failure of generator - Auxilliary Power Unit (APU)?

The aircraft will depart after removal of technical fault.

Private news channels were reporting that aircraft's air conditioning and cabin lights stopped working before departure from Jeddah.

The departure of today's PIA Multan to Jeddah flight PK-739 is also delayed, according to news channels. PK-739 was scheduled to depart from Multan at 10:45 PM and is now expected to depart from Multan at 6:00 AM on December 14.

Maybe it's due to delay in arrival of flight PK-740 from Jeddah at Multan? PK-740 was scheduled to land at Multan Airport at 7:25 PM today.

AP-BHX arrived in Multan at 6:02 AM as flight PK-740 from Jeddah with a delay of more than ten hours. The flight was scheduled to land in Multan at 7:25 PM on December 13.

Later, the B777 departed from Multan at 8:42 AM as flight PK-739 to Jeddah with a delay of nearly ten hours. PK-739 was scheduled to depart from Multan at 10:45 PM on December 13.
