Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777-36NER registration ET-APY performing flight ET-605 from Beijing to Addis Ababa landed at Lahore Airport at 4:51 AM today due to some technical problem with aircraft's fuel supply/tank.

Most likely engineers from their home base will fly to Lahore to repair it. I do not think they can hire PIA services as most of maintenance is done at KHI

Relief flight from Addis Abbaba has arrived in Lahore operated with 777-300ER and I am sure they must have brought the engineering team with them to carry out the repair.
There was leakeage in the right tank and although the captain had fuel of 8 hours in the left tank but he couldn't use that probably due to the Centre of gravity shifting and all.

Ethiopian Airlines relief flight Boeing 777-360ER registration ET-ASK will transport 335 passengers & 12 crew members of flight ET-605 present at Lahore Airport, according to City42 News channel.

According to City42 News channel, aircraft engineering team of Ethiopian Airlines also arrived in Lahore aboard B777 (ET-ASK) to remove fuel tank problem experienced by B777 (ET-APY).

i flew ethiopian back in december and january.

Food was good, crew good as well, but airplane condition was same like PIA.

ET-APY performed 33 minutes test flight ET-9202 from & to Lahore today. The Boeing 777 departed from Lahore at 4:42 AM and returned to Lahore at 5:15 AM.
