Malindo Air Flight Bursts Tyres During Take Off Roll at Lahore Airport

According to news sources, a Malindo Air aircraft performing flight OD-132 from Lahore to Kuala Lumpur burst tyres during take off run at Lahore Airport. The aircraft was carrying 149 passengers.

According to information on following link, today Malindo Air Boeing 737-9GPER registration 9M-LNF was performing flight OD-132.

Apparently the incident happened around 9:13 PM and the aircraft was able to taxi towards a remote parking bay after aborted takeoff. It was using Runway 36R for take off.

Flight OD-132 scheduled departure time is 9:05 PM.

Aircraft burst a number of its main landing gear tyres, according to news sources.

Maybe the Boeing 737 aborted take off for some other reason like engine problem and due to aborted take off burst some its tyres.

Pakistan CAA is investigating the incident.

The aircraft will be to depart after getting replacement tyres.

Maybe, Malindo Air flight OD-131 from Kuala Lumpur scheduled to land at Lahore Airport at 8:15 PM tonight to bring spares for the aircraft.

9M-LNF departed from Lahore on September 26 at 1:24 AM as flight OD-132 to Kuala Lumpur.

Probably spares were brought by sistership 9M-LNH that arrived in Lahore on September 25 at 7:58 PM seventeen minutes ahead of schedule as flight OD-131 from Kuala Lumpur.
