AirBlue A340-300

Why Airblue retired their A340-300 ? Were they newly bought or did they buy retired one's?

Those A340s were built in 1998/99 and acquired on dry lease by airblue from ILFC in 2012 for five years. airblue returned them to lessor in 2014.

Seems like both airplanes will be brokenup for parts.

Former AP-EDF of airblue is flying as Islamic Republic of Iran VIP aircraft under registration EP-AJA.
