PK-898 diverted to Karachi

I just checked on flightradar24 website that, PK-898 (LHE-KUL) has been diverted to karachi. Anyone knows the reason? Problem with Aircraft?

But it was diverted from half way into India, so must be some other issue...

Probably the aircraft i.e. Airbus A310-308 (AP-BEQ) needed rectification of some technical problem to be performed at PIA Engineering base in Karachi.

Apparently AP-BEQ was unable to resume flight PK-898 after diverting to Karachi. Her sistership i.e. Airbus A310-324ET registration AP-BGP departed from Karachi at 6:36 PM as flight PK-898 to Kuala Lumpur.

One of my friend travelling on returning flight KUL-KHI, has been told by PIA that the KUL-KHI flight is facing delay of 7 hours.
