The fact that EK offers free WiFi (even if its only 10MB) is a great offer to the passengers as other Airlines are demanding high prices to use the service.AP-BGL wrote:NO. Only 10MBs free as per my last flight in last week of March.AM Kay wrote:Is WiFi now free for Economy class as well?
On my last Flight I purchased additional 500MB for a small fee of only 1 USD.

Emirates saying their economy is like an upgrade, when they use 3-4-3 per row.
Meanwhile PIA use 3-3-3 and have no intention of changing, still they do not advertise it, yet emirates advertising their 3-4-3.

I haven't travelled through DXB in a while, but with increasing numbers I can't imagine it being too pleasant

This wide screen advertisement has a catch. Recently traveled via Emirates (Geneva-Dubai-Delhi-Geneva) and the wide screens and etc was on the Geneva-Dubai sector in the newer 777. Dubai-Delhi was older version with small screen but a full flight. While returning they were overbooked and asked me to let go of my seat for a free ticket round trip ticket. I told them look at my "green passport" and you want me to stay one extra day in India.

When internet is so cheap on an a380 or 777 it's bound to be slow. Too many people using it. Also isn't wifi only one hour at Dubai airport free?
Doha had free one completely.....
I got very good speed on a320 except it was $15 for 4 hour flight.
