The euro white livery with large PAKISTAN and PIA on the tail would have been better, but extremely close to the 1999 livery of leased 747-300 fleet.

Maybe Nawaz Sharif is scared the last time PIA was painted in euro white he ended up in jail.

No offence to you Amaad but whenever I hear things like this i.e. President/PM's involvement in the affairs of the airline (and it does happen as you know) it just makes my hair stand on end because it is really none of their damned business what the airline is or is not doing and its common knowledge that those in such positions in this country have zero knowledge about aviation and running an airline not to mention an obvious lack in taste and sophistication. Their responsibilities are restricted to governing the country not deciding the colors of the seat fabric on a plane and imposing their will to what they think is appropriate and correct.

Preferring this version, the spaced out lettering especially on tail seems rather attractive.

The 90s livery could have evolved into something like this.

Something like this ?

but this will only happen if you convince them to buy PIA but if that happens we may risk getting this livery instead :P
