Probably ataxi (ataxi.com.pk) launched in Lahore on February 16 meets these conditions?

The problem at Lahore airport will never ever be sorted out.
These good for nothing initiatives are worthless.

Re: CAA to Establish a Modern Taxi/Cab Service at Lahore Airport
Something is better than nothing.
Apparently movement of these taxis can be monitored/tracked/recorded and I think such feature will help passengers especially those coming from other countries in choosing them for safe, relaxed and comfortable travel instead of taxis without such devices. It will also help in ending or reducing incidents of taxi passengers getting robbed or kidnapped.
GPRS based taxi meter also good to prevent taxi operator from overcharging customer.
BTW, ataxi (ataxi.com.pk) with such devices already appears to be getting popular in Lahore and can be seen on major roads and in popular shopping areas of the city. Some days ago, I also saw an ataxi dropping a passenger in drop lane of Lahore Airport.

Re: CAA to Establish a Modern Taxi/Cab Service at Lahore Airport
Imo there should be at least 200 brand new fully equipped taxis In addition to the existing ones at the airport. You must have seen the chaos at LHE if two flights land simultaneously. I once had to wait 2+ hrs to get a cab the other choice was a rickshaw.
ISB is way better in this case I don't know what is the problem specifically in Lahore city regarding taxis. Non existent in most areas even after so many prime minister peeli taxi and nadim e aala taxi schemes....
