AP-BLV as flight PK-8002 with Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army General Raheel Sharif onboard landed at Islamabad Airport at 10:54 PM. The A320 completed flight PK-8002 from Tehran to Islamabad in two hours & fifty-three minutes.

A number of Pakistani journalists were also carried by AP-BLV.

Internationally only heads of state/govt flights are accorded special clearance/protocols hence have special callsigns. Army chief, though very important domestically has no such previlage internationally. Nonetheless within Pakistan, he does operate with a special callsign.
