According to news report on following link, Air Indus is planning to resume flight operations this month.

The airline has plan to induct two wet leased Boeing 737-800s currently in Moscow.

The airline's two Boeing 737-300s are parked at Karachi Airport.

Air Indus is getting ready to resume flight operations most likely this month, according to a reliable source.

The airline's fleet will include at least one leased Boeing 737-800.

This airline should become a true LCC like Ryan Air, charge for everything extra, you only pay for seat, even water should be charged by the bottle.

Two Boeing 737-800s expected to join Air Indus

One Boeing 737-800 in Turkey and other in Egypt to be inspected by airline and Pakistani authorities.

A dry leased Boeing 737-300 (probably AP-BLG) will return to service after going maintenance checks at PIA Engineering facilities in Karachi.

Aircraft in Egypt might be AMC Aviation Boeing 737-86N with Egyptian registration SU-BPZ.

But I think they need to have at least three aircraft registered in Pakistan to resume flight operations.

Probably two Boeing 737-800s and one Boeing 737-300 registered in Pakistan?

Ideally, they should have at least three Boeing 737-800s registered in Pakistan to restart flights.

^ They should've gone with A320s, as Shaheen, airblue and PIA all have gone a320.

This would prepare their pilots for dry leasing a320s in the future as they fly with wet leased pilots for training.

Having 3 boeing 737 on dry lease in future will be expensive as they will need to be flown out of country for maintainance vs taking it to PIA hanger.

^ Air Indus don't need to follow fleet plans of other Pakistanis airlines. The leasing company can get Air Indus Boeing 737-800 undergo maintenance checks at any facility outside Pakistan like for example in UAE which is not far away from Pakistan.

Secondly, I don't think A320s of airblue and Shaheen Air undergo maintenance checks at PIA Engineering facility.

I hope they resume pretty soon as hundreds of families lives are at stake as the management hasn't paid their employees since 8 months now , so many hurdles created by CAA for them to make operations possible.
Airlines that have had accidents recently and in the past have no issues operating even the following day but Indus has been the ugly duckling for CAA, sad..... That it self is a separate debate but validating local crew and getting everything hunky dory would take time as their current RPT is valid only roll March i suppose.....
Things need to be quick ...

strange feeling while viewing the video clip for evacuation drill:

- crew hesitating initially for evacuation through slide
- one of crew evacuated with laptop case
- evacuation drill in actual uniform, is it norm during such drill/training to wear the complete uniform?

In Pakistan it is norm. In other major airlines they wear coveralls.
