PIA Airbus A320 to Perform VIP Flight to Colombo?

Seems PIA Airbus A320-214 registration AP-BLV was ferried from Karachi to Islamabad today to perform VIP flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka, on January 4.

The A320 departed from Karachi at 7:57 PM and landed at Islamabad at 9:37 PM.

Earlier, it had arrived in Karachi at 1:38 PM on January 2 as scheduled passenger flight PK-303 from Lahore.

On January 4, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will fly to Colombo for three-day official visit to Sri Lanka.

PTV News showed a number of agreements/MoUs signed between various business groups of Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Agreements/MoUs were signed in fields of hydropower, cement manufacturing, shipping, deep sea fishing etc.

It means a number of Pakistani businessmen were also carried by AP-BLV for signing these agreements.

BTW, AP-BLV landed at Islamabad Airport at 6:48 PM as VIP flight PK-2 from Colombo today. The A320 completed flight from Colombo to Islamabad in four hours.
