I also don't see any need for big four-engined aircraft like A380 or 747-8 in PIA fleet.

The future belongs to twin-engined aircraft.

Instead of getting 6 A380 getting 14 or 15 787s or A330neos would be the right step

^ What are they going to do with such a large number of 787s or A330s?

Around six used Airbus A330-200s should be good enough to replace ageing A310-300s in current fleet of the airline.

^ Thank you for another photo.

Any idea what they going to do with this B747?

Has anyone seen it from inside? Has it retained cabin seats?

Would it possible to lift the B747 slightly in the air with landing gear supports? Otherwise aircraft tyres will flatten with the passage of time.

The PIA Boeing 720B at planetarium in Lahore is slightly lifted in the air and it has prevented its tyres from getting out of shape or flatten.

Cabin in same damaged condition. Just a little bit settled, as last seen.

BTW, PIA logo & markings should have been removed from AP-BFV fuselage. It is a standard de-branding practice but PIA normally don't care.

^ I agree. The aircraft in poor condition with PIA markings will be a bad advertisement for the airline.

I remember the photo of Emirates B777 being scraped in full white after de-branding, and PIA even don't care about the national flag while scraping an aircraft. Recently, a PIA aircraft was scrapped with its complete markings including national flag on its tail.

The 'PIA' brand always being mishandled. What the airline branding team actually doing?

Alitalia demonstrated their de-branding in 2013 when one of their ATRs skidded off the runway. Note how all the recognizable colors were removed, not just the logo;

A friend of mine, whose father is an architect, has told me that his father has been assigned a task to design the interior of a jumbo jet parked near airport that is being converted into a restaurant. I was amazed to hear this. That's a great news for jumbo lovers. =D> I guess this AP-BFV will be converted into a restaurant but i don't know will it be based at its current place or not.

Security looks a bit lax where the photos are taken with the fence in dilapidated condition...
