Indian PM has flown Air India aircraft to Kabul in the past, it was on an A310 in palace windows livery almost ten years ago.

Just a goodwill visit by the Indian PM to Pakistan. No agreement signed between the two countries during this very short & informal visit.

BTW, "RAJDOOT" was parked in front of Lahore Airport terminal building on a bay with boarding bridge facility used for parking aircraft performing regular passengers flights. Apparently mobile stairs were used for IAF B737 because it was a VIP flight.

Those mobile stairs with proper PIA logo/titles would have been good advertisement for the airline in world media.

I think from 1990s PIA stopped properly painting ground equipment under a standard design. Nowadays we see PIA ground equipment painted with different styles/fonts/colours/designs/streaks at different airports of the country. There's no standard colour scheme for the ground equipment.

Mobile stairs and other ground equipment in 1980s were seen properly painted according to airline's corporate identity at major airports of the country. I've seen a brochure probably issued by Negus & Negus with details like how PIA ground equipment like buses, mobile stairs, GPU, tugs, catering vans etc. should be painted according to green & gold livery of the airline. The brochure also had designs for baggage tags, timetables, passenger tickets, signboards etc. according to green & gold livery of the airline.

Here are some photos of properly painted mobile stairs of PIA according to green & gold livery of the airline.

According to news channels, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sent a bill of two hundred ten thousand rupees to PIA for accommodation & refreshment of PM Mod's delegation members in a lounge of Lahore Airport. Probably Commercially Important Person (CIP) Lounge of the airport managed by Pakistan CAA?

According to PIA spokesperson's statement on PTV News, the airline has received payment from relevant government department(s) for the bill it paid to CAA.

Probably PIA was charged because it provided ground handling service to the IAF B737.
