Is this acquisition of A321 with sharklets related to their planned re-launch of Manchester operations?

Or part of acquisition of four A321s by airblue, reported by media sometime ago?

If it is for the MAN operations, they may struggle to compete given both PIA AND Shaheen will have direct service with no technical (refueling stop) as they have/will operate B777 and A330 respectively.

Hope they arent kept in UTair livey, considering how long Windrose have been flying for them they too could have been in PA livery all this while, there should be a rule that airline apply its full branding on leases of one year and longer.

Hope not, its simple and professional, just right for an LCC, look at easyjet so tacky and unproffessional now compared to its original livery.

Nicely tweaked airblue livery was introduced not so long ago in year 2009 on airline's brand new A320 registration AP-EDA.

Airlines usually keep their livery unchanged for at least a decade.

So VQ-BRS will be on dry . Why we doing advertising UT Air here?))))) There are some airlines in Russia who are giving back aircraft to leasing companies due to ecnomic conditions they cannot survive . Because no tourist (

Good that Airblue is maintaining youngest fleet till date though will not anymore once Serene Air will start ops with brand new Boeing 737-800s being acquired directly from manufacturer; however, my question is when Airblue crossing 2 digit number for its fleet and some real expansion i.e. coming out of circle of being regional airline?

Last week went on short trip to Pakistan with Air Blue on SHJ-ISB-SHJ sector, outbound was on AP-BMW and inbound on AP-BMP, both legs dot on time, very comfortable cabin, small serving but hot and delicious meals on both flights  Since return flight was by redemption of points so a saving of circa AED600 was icing on the cake =D>
