PIA should use A310-300s for Middle East

Post by Amaad Lone »

The A310-300 fleet in all economy layout of 207 seats would be perfect for the Middle East.

To bring passengers back to PIA from Shaheen and Air Blue, PIA should offer higher baggage allowances as the travelers to and from Middle East have heavy baggage requirement.

A310-300 have a better payload offer then the A320 and on certain routes the extra baggage allowance will pull the passenger back to PIA.

previously Shaheen Air took over a lot of PIA Middle East traffic and that can now be reversed.

Instead of phasing them out totally the six of them should be used for Gulf and Saudi routes.

Ammad keeps rehashing posts, in any case PK already use A310 on ME routes and even when they were configured in all Economy for a while.

All A310 are back in J/Y configuration.

Is it a c check or are they using the fifth A310 to keep the other four airborne?

Probably using the other A310 to keep the rest airborne.
