ANF seizes 1kg heroin from UK-bound passenger.

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Forces (ANF) personnel on Sunday at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad claimed to have arrested a British citizen after recovering one-kilogram heroin from him prior to boarding a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK 791 for Birmingham. An ANF spokesman said that the British citizen of Pakistani origin had tactfully concealed 1kg of heroin in his shoes, which was detected during routine checking by ANF staff. A case has been registered against the accused and an investigation by the ANF went under way.
