PIA Flight PK-319 Departs Without Parliamentarians

According to Geo News, PIA flight PK-319 to Karachi departed from Islamabad without a number of parliamentarians.

The parliamentarians are protesting against airline's officials.

Probably the parliamentarians arrived late and airline officials decided not to delay flight departure for the parliamentarians.

According to information on following link, on June 5, flight PK-319 was performed by PIA Airbus A320-214 registration AP-BLD.

PK-319 departed from Islamabad at 10:22 PM. The flight's scheduled departure time was 10:00 PM.

PK-319 landed at Karachi Airport at 12:00 AM on June 6. The flight's scheduled arrival time was 11:55 PM on June 5.

If they were late it was the best decision that they have made. Flights must depart on time and can not be hold only because of some "VIP". If they want that flexibility than they have to rent their own Aircraft.

What PIA officials done is the right decision. Politicians are not the owners of PIA, in these days airline is in revival phase. PIA officials and management should take hard steps to grow the airline by providing quality services to passengers and these parliamentarians should learn a lesson by an incident that happened with Rehman Malik a few months before.

My uncle is in parliment and flies every few days KHI-ISB, even if in Y class, what a frikkin waste of govt. money, sometimes he goes and comes back in a few hours, sometimes he flies daily, I havent flown on a plane since 2004 and I'm an aviation enthusiast, so not fair.
