Do you think LYP and UET are also possible? becuase they have entered two Flydubai territories SKT being the other, and LYP is rumored to be next FZ destination soon.

Re: Emirates launches Multan and additional service to Karachi
I dont know how I feel about the MUX timing, does that fit into a decent departure and arrival bank in DXB? it would be have good to have an early morning flight during the early hours to fit in with UK,EU,US connections no?
Could someone enlighten me on this

Re: Emirates launches Multan
Dear BabarBlues,
Emirates generally targets new destinations according to the connections. The Multan flight timings are the best suitable for early morning wave to US and EU as almost all the EU destinations are served twice or thrice in a day minimum... Early morning wave starts from 2:30 to almost 4:30 which includes JFK, IAD, DFW, LHR, MAN, FRA, CDG, BHX and others....

Except for JFK, it would be difficult to connect to the other USA airports.

Re: Emirates launches Multan
Great news but only 30mins turn around time? Isn't that a little bit short for a 773?
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion, SubhanAllah

Multan is not showing on Emirates schedule as of today, June 5th, 2015. But I hope you are correct.

Re: Emirates launches Multan
A small correction, only economy and business class will be offered. EK doesn not sell F class to Pakistan, perhaps some bilateral agreement limitation.Abbas Ali wrote:Emirates four flights a week Dubai - Multan service with Boeing 777-300 in three class layout.Abbas

IJfWc.dpufService to Multan, Pakistan’s 5th largest city by population, will commence with four weekly flights operated by a Boeing 777-300 in a two-class configuration - 54 seats in Business Class and 310 in Economy Class. The aircraft can carry up to 23 tonnes of cargo, opening up many more trade opportunities in the region.

Re: Emirates launches Multan
Arabian Aerospace has misread the EK's B777-300 seat configuration. It is 12F/42J/310Y. For DXB-MUX it will probably be 42J/310Y, 12F class seats will stay emty i think.
