PAF K-8 Crashes Near Swabi - Pilots Safe

A two-seater K-8 Karakorum jet trainer aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near Swabi today.

The two pilots were able to eject safely.

According to PTV News, the K-8 crashed into a field without causing any loss of life in Shah Mansoor town of Swabi District.

According to newspaper reports, the ill-fated aircraft was in a formation of two K-8s that had departed from PAF Base Risalpur for a training mission.

The two aircraft were returning to the base when one of them experienced technical problem around 7:30 AM. One of the pilots landed on a field. The other pilot landed on the roof of a house and sustained minor leg injury.
