QR630 Diverted to Lhe

QR630 DOH-ISL is diverted to Lahore. It circled over Mndi Bahaudin and now landing at Lahore Airport. Any specific reason for not landing at Isl Airport?

It could be the bad weather warning. Metar for romeo november shows thunderstorms.

METAR: OPRN 082100Z 31036KT 4000 TS FEW030CB SCT040 BKN100 29/15 Q1007.3/29.74
