Provision of Airport Passenger Processing System at International / Domestic Briefing / Check-In Counters at CAA Airports


Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is a public sector autonomous body working under the Federal Government of Pakistan through Aviation Division, Cabinet Secretariat. Airports strategically connect to the world trade and tourism markets. Every year CAA welcomes almost 14 million passengers at all airports wherein the traffic flow is maximum at international airports, Jinnah International Air Port (JIAP) - Karachi, Allama Iqbal International Air Port (AIIAP) - Lahore, Benazir Bhutto International Air Port (BBIAP) - Islamabad, Bacha Khan International Air Port (BKIAP) - Peshawar, Multan International Air Port (MIAP) - Multan, Faisalabad and Quetta International Air Port (QIAP) - Quetta.

CAA invites expression of interest for provision of airport passenger processing system at CAA airports from registered companies having presentation in Pakistan with relevant experience, good reputation and sound financial background. The system must be compatible with latest technologies and to meet the requirement of international and domestic airlines International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards and recommend practices for check-in, departure controls and baggage reconciliation, to be run on common use platform.

CAA intends to deploy the required system initially at Multan International Air Port (MIAP) - Multan and later on the system will also be deployed at other airports.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) request for proposal (RFP) in April 8 newspaper for issuance of licence for deployment, operation and maintenance of Passenger Processing System (PPS) and Baggage Reconciliation System at Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority airports.
