Does anyone know the reason for so frequent flights to KL? Is there a large Pakistani community there? Or is it due to tourism?

It's a good news for Pakistanis traveling between Malaysia and Pakistan. Currently the only viable option for east bound people is Thai Airways but with family, connecting flights are never desirable.

Malaysia does have a good number of Pakistani community. A lot of Pakistani expats, businessmen reside there.

PIA is using some A310s for evacuations, could that be a reason (shortage of aircrafts) ??
How about adding some more widebodies and then increasing frequencies?

According to the PIA office at Kuala Lumpur, the reason was less passenger load on the route.
But shortage of aircrafts also seems to be quite obvious.

As Usual Great People To Fly With Didn't do their homework properly. Probably they were too busy in attending the fashion show for the new cabin crew uniform.
