PIA not on Boeing orders and delievery list for 777

Firstly salaam I am new forum member
Now my question:
If i do remember correctly PIA back in 2010 put in a order for 5 brand new boeing 777-300ER. But looking at Boeing orders and Delievery list there is no Pakistan International Airlines listed for any delieveries. So is the deal off due to money or something else

Do forum members not understand the meaning of sabr?

As for the correct way of ciewing active orders and historical on the Boeing website, you need to do the following:

1- Follow this link:

http://active.boeing.com/commercial/ord ... eid=m15527

2- on the Date range sub-section, select ALL Dates

3- On the Select Customer Information bit, select Pakistan Int'l from the airlines

4- Scroll to the bottom and click 'view report'

It will generate the following:

From what I have heard this order has been deferred to 2017 due to lack of funds/financing. Initial delivery was due for March 2015 and the first plane ought to have been in the production line by now and there would have been some discussion regarding cabin fittings, seats and livery by this time but there is nothing happening.

Above mention URL shows what is in Boeing Assembly line till 15th of October 2015. Nothing for PIA.

The delivery was planned for mid 2015 , the list quoted above is only for what airline ordered and got delivery in 2014. As far as if the order is still valid, if the order had been cancalled then you would have seen a reversal of -5 if PIA had cancelled. However, in PIA case , cannot predict anything due to the political hodgepotch of the entity.

The delivery was planned for mid 2015

The 5 77W deliveries were planned with the first in September 2015 and the others thru to December 2015.

That page shows orders signed this year. The PIA order was firmed (signed) in 2012.

Definitely not PIA.
