This company was almost bankrupt . They should pray for Blkan seervice and AirBlue witch are keeping them alive. Why Air Blue is not tacking plane on dry lease direct from a leasing company?

UR-WRQ today departed as flight 7W-7502 from La Romana International Airport, Dominican Republic, probably to be prepared for wet lease to airblue.

The A330 has landed at Windrose base Boryspil International Airport, Kiev, Ukraine.

From Kiev most probably it will be ferried to Pakistan to start wet lease term with airblue.

why not dry-lease if you're planning to have a more or less a permanent regional route ?

wet-leases and temporary routes, not really giving a lot of confidence to passengers. Remember there is plenty of FOREIGN competition for Jeddah route...

AirBlue (PA, Karachi Int'l) will receive a single Airbus A330-200 UR-WRQ (c/n 296) on wet-lease from Wind Rose Aviation (7W, Kiev Borispol) shortly for an initial three month period. AirBlue already has three A321-100/-200 on lease from the Ukrainian operator.

With the Airbus A330-200, AirBlue reintroduces flights with wide-body aircraft having previously operated a pair of A340-300 for a brief period. After being added to the fleet in 2012 they were withdrawn from use only a little more than a year later.

AirBlue will mainly use the A330-200 on its routes linking Pakistan with Saudi-Arabia.
