According to news sources, drivers of a company contracted to transport PIA cabin and cockpit crew to/from airport have stopped working due to non-payment of salaries. Seventy million rupees are due to be paid by PIA to the transport company. PIA has not paid due bills to the transport company since past seven months. Transport company's drivers have not received salary since past six months.
Talks between PIA and transport company have failed.
Crews of PIA flights PK-306 from Karachi to Lahore and PK-370 from Karachi to Islamabad have not been able to reach Karachi airport.
PIA is making arrangements to transport the crew.

PIA crew pick & drop service restored till 3:00 PM tomorrow after successful talks between the airline and contracted transporters, according to latest reports.
