Re: AirBlue to Get ATR 72-600 Aircraft on Wet Lease
Miscommitment from airblue on agreement clause became the reason for this world's shortes lease AIRBLUE was planning to start flights to KBL and the lessor crew informed the same at the base.

Re: AirBlue to Get ATR 72-600 Aircraft on Wet Lease
Quick Duck Airlines (Bratislava) has, for the time being, temporarily suspended operations after its sole aircraft, an ATR72-600 OM-AQD (cn 1162), returned to Bratislava last week. The turboprop is dry-leased from Singapore-based lessor, Avation. The carrier could not be reached for comment.
The Transport Authority of Slovakia has confirmed to ch-aviation that while Quick Duck has already received an air operator certificate, it lacks an air services license from the Ministry of Transport that has yet to be issued.
Suspicions about the Slovak start-up's future first arose last week when Pakistan's AirBlue (PA, Karachi Int'l) announced it had terminated its lease just 10 days after it began, likely because of the carrier's licensing issues.
Founded roughly 9 months ago, Quick Duck was backed by local Slovak investors to the tune of EUR5million (USD6.02million) with a workforce of DanubeWings (V5, Bratislava) employees. It had planned to take delivery of a second ATR later this year.

Re: AirBlue to Get ATR 72-600 Aircraft on Wet Lease
Probably airblue will try to get another ATR or the same ATR of Quick Duck after issues related to that aircraft are resolved.
airblue route planners must have done their homework before starting turboprop service and I think they will try to restart the service.
