Message given in today's (October 5) newspaper by Directorate of Flight Safety, Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
It informs general public that on the occasion of Eid al-Adha dumping of sacrificial animals' remains at unspecified places attract large birds like kites and vultures. These birds are threat to safety of airborne aircraft and can result in loss of lives of pilots and general public on the ground. Therefore the general public is requested to dump sacrificial animals' remains at specified places or bury them in the ground to ensure clean environment.
Remember! Protection of PAF aircraft, its pilots and yourself can be ensured by precautionary measures taken by you.

Leaflet with photo of bird hit suffered by PAF Lockheed C-130E Hercules (aircraft serial# 14727). The leaflet was distributed to visitors of air show on air force day (Youm-e-Fiza'ya) September 7 at PAF Base Lahore some years ago.
