PIA aircraft log archive

Post by ksekha »

Hello Everyone,

I am updating my travel database where I list all my flights, airline, aircraft, aircraft registration, etc.

In the olden days I did not note the aircraft registration number but if I was to provide my exact travel dates and the aircraft type, is there any way I could find out which particular aircraft flew at that time? I am after the aircraft registration.

In most cases I am talking about aircraft that have now been sold or even scrapped.

Surely when aircraft fly and are sold, it is necessary to keep a log of its hours flown and its cycles (landings and take offs), so there must be aircraft log records stored somewhere in PIA's archives.

Can someone advise me here? I am willing to pay PIA for the time involved in searching their archives.

Thanks,

Kamran
