Hello, very sad news about this attack at Karachi Airport, but have a question,

On Dutch aviation forums the news is going around that at least 7 aircraft are destroyed with this attack.

Is this info correct or completely incorrect.

Take care and thank you, Ger

^ Ger, all aircraft are safe, according to security forces.

A building with cargo items including chemicals had caught fire that was seen in news reports. The aircraft parked near that building are safe.

However, there's possibility of some aircraft suffering minor damage by bullets.

I am worried if gulf carriers will quit their services to Pakistan. Commendable effort to operate even in the face of deteriorating security situation. Their activity had kept our airports alive. Western carriers, if any was thinking of resuming Pakistan, their plans would now be put back by 30 years.

I don't expect that any of the Middle Eastern Airlines will quit PK operation - anyhow I agree concerning the western airlines
