According to news sources, a number of air traffic controllers stopped working and staged a protest at Lahore Airport today. During the protest, the number of air traffic controllers workforce was reduced to three or four at Lahore Airport.

The air traffic controllers are protesting against delay in their promotion and also raised concerns against outdated equipment used for air traffic control.

The air traffic controllers say that during the protest they will not work extra hours and also refuse to give shorter air routes to the aircraft.

In case their demands are not met then they will consider adopting 'Go-Slow' policy.
