Bird Hit Forces PIA Flight to Return to Islamabad

According to news sources, Dubai-bound PIA flight PK-211 has returned to Islamabad because the aircraft ingested a bird into one of its engines during climb out.

The flight was carrying more than 140 passengers and crew.

Passengers have been shifted to airport lounge and PK-211 is now expected to depart at 2:00 PM. Scheduled departure time for PK-211 was 9:55 AM.
