Qatar Increasing Lahore Flights from 1st July 2014

Seems like Qatar is adding four new flights to Lahore eff 1st July 2014.

Flight days are Tu Th Sa and Su. The new flight timings are as under

QR 622 Dep Doha (DOH) 01:20 Arrival Lahore (LHE) 06:55
QR 623 Dep Lahore (LHE) 09:15 Arrival Doha (DOH) 11:00

The metal is A-320. Looks like they want to feed the second flight with their second wave of evening arrivals at DOH.

Authorities should now also consider improving passenger facilities at Lahore Airport to handle increasing number of various airlines' flights.

It's all business. No matter what the security situation, those who are making huge profits from Pakistan would never pull out of flying from here. Capacity increase planning takes long time to materialize. The reason why they are not pulling off that if they do so now and if the situation normalizes in a few months, it will again take a couple of years take consent from our brainless govt. to increase capacity.

Btw which aviation "industry" you are talking about here? Lets calculate the total number of planes in commercial service in pak. That will give you an idea of how huge this industry really is. Number of passenger however is a different story and that is because of the population crisis we are going thru.
