According to ARY News - Bomb reported in PK 709, Airport officials in Manchester is searching the aircraft, all passengers has been shifted to Airport lounge safelty. Flight was sheduled from Lahore.

According to Geo News, PIA authorities received bomb threat for a Manchester-bound flight of the airline.

Following two PIA flights were searched after their arrival at Manchester Airport.

* Lahore to Manchester flight PK-709.

PIA Boeing 777-340ER registration AP-BID operated flight PK-709 on February 28.

PIA Boeing 777-240ER registration AP-BGK operated flight PK-701 on Ferbruary 28.

The bomb threat proved to be a hoax as both aircraft have been cleared after thorough search by authorities at Manchester Airport.
