Tonight around 10:30pm I was passing by the airport and noticed an Air China 757 or 767 (judging by the tail) parked at the domestic terminal at JIAP which I found quite unusual. I was going to see a friend who lived nearby (basically our usual spotting location) and when I left his house at 1:30am we heard a plane coming in and it was an Air China 777-200.
My only conclusion is that the 757 or 767 parked at JIAP went tech and the incoming 777 was a relief backup flight. It would be interesting to know why both planes really were there though.

Re: Air China @ KHI.
I did a playback observation on flightradar24 as per your given timing but it seems that the ADS-B is inactive at KHI. Otherwise it would had told about the incoming of CCA flights to KHI.
