Air China from 28OCT13 is also starting 3 weekly Beijing - Islamabad - Karachi - Beijing A330-200 service (Reported on 11SEP13), replacing existing Beijing - Karachi 2 weekly A320 operation. Reservation for this route is now available.

Air China W13 Pakistan Operation Changes: New Service to Islamabad

Air China on Wednesday (11SEP13) morning local time has adjusted planned operation to Pakistan from 28OCT13, which sees the airline introducing 3 weekly Beijing - Islamabad - Karachi - Beijing triangle operation. Reservation for this A330-200 service is now open. This will replace existing 2 weekly Beijing - Chengdu - Karachi service on board A320, which reservation for flights on/after 27OCT13 was closed since 05SEP13.

Well Done Air China! =D> Pakistanis from both North & South of the country will finally get good onward connections from Beijing to Northern Asia (Mainland Chinese cities, Japan, South Korea, North Korea & Mongolia). Also we'll see some good competitive airfares which should bring an end to PIA's high fares to Beijing & Tokyo. Air China's A330-200 will be a far better & comfortable option compared to PIA's A310.

And most probably PIA will code share with Air China on this route as already they are lacking of fleet

i think there must be lots of business traffic on the Beijing - islamabad sector if not now will definatly go up with PML gov in next few years

Air China will also get some American feed too with this flight...Vancouver , Lax, Ord, Japan and Korea with other important destinations too...mainly beneficial for businessman....
