If PAX and Cargo Load to/from SKT in near future increase we will soon see upgrade to the Boeing 777.

The inaugural flight EK 620 by Emirates Airlines to Sialkot was flown under the Command of Capt Asghar Shinwari ex PIA Capt. The aircraft was an A330 and is the fifth destination for Emirates in Pakistan

Well, in the last week Emirates has carried a full passenger load on outbound flights from Dubai to Sialkot. Guys wait for this space, i guess the 777 is soon to be introduced on this route, replacing the A330-200

FlyDubai and Air Arabia have also changed flight schedule to afternoon and evening instead of early morning. Must be something to do with Sialkot airport.

Yes I also noticed this when I recently searched for a Flight.
Seems to be that this is due to fog season - LHE Schedule also have been changed due to fog.

Most of the airports of Punjab must be upgraded to CAT III operations, how long flight operations will be effected due to Fog at LHE, ISB, SKT etc. Government is just thinking about constructing new airports but not considering to upgrade the navigational equipment at the existing airports.

I think flight operations at Peshawar Airport also get affected by fog in winters.
In case of Lahore Airport, I remember a Pakistan CAA official said that because fog affects flight operations for few weeks in mornings & nights of winter that's why they do not have plans to spend money in upgrading ILS at Lahore.

'Boeing 737-800 "AIRCRAFTS" included in PIA fleet'

The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion, SubhanAllah

Re: Emirates Airline to start flying to Sialkot Internationa
Today's EK 620 to Sialkot was operated by B772(reg A6-EMH) instead of A332.
It was circling for some time before diverted to KHI due to fog. Arrived from KHI at 16:00 PST
Any idea why EK changed to B772?

Re: Emirates Airline to start flying to Sialkot Internationa
Seems to be a last minute equipment change.
I checked yesterday for EK620 Seat Map and Load of that Flight on expertflyer.com and it shows an A330 Aircraft.
Also I checked for my Flight Schedule for my Flight to SKT with EK in 1 Month and it still shows an A330.
Anyhow EK will upgrade soon SKT Flights with larger Equipment(like 772 or 773) as Passenger Load is almost 100% on every flight that I have checked last days and weeks.
Also Cargo demand from SKT is rising so sooner or later we will see the 777 on all Flights from / to SKT in sha Allah.

Re: Emirates Airline to start flying to Sialkot Internationa
@Hamad
I traveled last month from SKT and flight was full. Didn't notice any empty seat. I'm also checking ek620/621 regularly on seatexperts and flights are having almost 90% load factor.
EK 620 depart DXB around 4am and most of flights from EU lands around midnight so waiting time for connecting passengers will be around 3-4 hours but on EK621 which lands around 12:35pm at DXB. Not many departing flights to EU with in 3-4 hour time frame. So passengers will stuck for almost 15hours stopover.
I think the day they upgraded to B777 they will change flight time to accommodate passengers on morning flights out of DXB to EU and rest of the world.
