Narcotics were recovered from PIA cabin crew by Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), according to following news report.
PIA flight attendant held for `drugs smuggling`

KARACHI, June 14:
A flight attendant of the Pakistan International Airlines was caught transporting drugs just before boarding a Jeddah bound flight (PK 741) at the Jinnah terminal of Karachi airport on Friday afternoon, official sources said.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), whose personnel reportedly recovered the drugs said to be heroin, detained the suspect but refused to share details with the media.

Sources said the flight attendant, who had performed in TV plays, had lately been travelling on the flights bound for Saudi Arabia more frequently.

A spokesperson for the ANF, Ali Gul, confirmed that the narcotics had been recovered from a PIA crew member.

PIA spokesperson Mashhood Tajwar told Dawn that a flight attendant who was travelling to Saudi Arabia as a passenger and was scheduled to bring back the flight as a crew member had been stopped at the airport by personnel of a law-enforcement agency and something had been recovered from her during the body search.

Her name or the type and quantity of what she was carrying could not be disclosed until an investigation report was submitted, he added.

The PIA flight to Jeddah left Karachi as per schedule despite her detention.

No. Why did they stop her from carrying them drugs? A big mistake made by the ANF, they should have allowed her to carry it and then inform the Saudis.

Imagine what would have happened to her after she got caught by the Saudi authorities- a fine example for the rest of the interesting parties who think carrying few killos of drugs on their national airline causes no harm to anybody..
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,
SubhanAllah

Charge-sheet against PIA flight attendant filed

KARACHI, June 28:
An anti-narcotics court accepted on Friday a charge-sheet filed against a flight attendant of the Pakistan International Airlines in a drugs smuggling case.

The court also issued a warrant for the arrest of an absconding suspect.

Maya Fakhri was allegedly caught transporting drugs just before boarding a Jeddah-bound flight at the Jinnah terminal of Karachi airport on June 14.

The investigation officer submitted the charge-sheet before the Special Court-II for Control of Narcotic Substances.

The investigation report said that the flight attendant was stopped by personnel of the Airport Security Force at the international departure’s final search counter and during her body search found 320 grams of heroin.

The woman had met Imranullah Khattak in Islamabad a few months ago and they became friends and he allegedly handed over the recovered drugs to her to deliver it in Jeddah, it added.

The IO has placed five prosecution witnesses in the charge-sheet and shown Imranullah as absconder.

Judge Sanaullah Ghory accepted the final investigation report for hearing and issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for the absconding suspect, asking the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to arrest and produced him in court till July 4.

A case was registered against the flight attendant under Section 6/9-B of the Control of Narcotics Substance Act 1997 at the ANF police station.
