PIA and CAA to be removed from Ministry of Defence control??

Post by Vaqar Khan »

According to the Express Tribune (see link below) the government has decided to separate PIA and CAA from the Defence Ministry. Though the last paragraph seems to suggest that CAA has no knowledge of such a move.

although its a non-political forum but I cant help writing that this governmnet is actually been run by Imran Khan. Like many other decisions of PML(N) this one was also suggested by IK in his last interview by falling of the lifter given to Mubashir Luqman :)

Instead of forming Aviation Division of Cabinet Secretariat I think they should establish Ministry of Airports and Aviation to handle matters related to civil aviation.

Just like ports & shipping and railways have their own ministries.

All the railways, roads, aviation, and shipping, needs to be formed under the Ministry of Transportation. Where a all the planning and safety issues should be devised and implemented.

FYI; This new aviation adviser does have close relationship with NS via Harreri family of Lebanon is a the brother of senator Tariq Azeem plus he is general aviation pilot. Just a basic CV information on the adviser
