ADS-B at MUX / OPMT

Just saw on flightradar24.com that ADS-B is installed at Multan International Airport.

whats the point when only B737 and ATR land there and they dont have the instruments installed on them to be seen on flightradar

Will it b installed in Lahore..as all the traffic here is shown by Amritser radar which makes aircraft disappear when they are low over Lahore and Sialkot

Faiq, you are right. The aircraft aren't visible when they are low in altitude but ADS-B is installed in Lahore.

FlyDubai operate to Multan Airport which uses B738 which has instrument installed. Moreover Shaheen Air also operate to Dubai and later to Madinah which will be operated with A320 (most definitely). That can be shown on radar.

It is not the CAA equipment which shows on the Flightradar24 and other websites. Anyone with an ADS-B receiver hooked up to a PC can upload the info to Flightradar server.
You can do so even from Lala Musa
