The report continues to amaze me.
- 90 percent of the findings are repeat of section 2 i.e transcript of CVR. Perhaps to give bulk to the report!.
- One of the findings (3.1.159) is ' Boeing Simulation was used to re-create the last 70 secs of the flight"??????, how could this be a finding.
-The is no mention of failure of regulatory oversight (by CAA) in, crew (lack of ) training, scheduling lack of proficiency.
-In finalisation, the cause is 'in effective automation management'????
-All three safety recommendations are about CAA actions without having determined the failure of CAA in regulatory oversight in the analysis, findings and conclusions.

In nutshell, the report has only partially determined 'what' happened without investigating 'how and why' it happened.

Also, AP_BAL crash report says first officer joined PIA on 15th Dec 2006, Wondering how can he join PIA after this tragic incident in July 2006?
